Day 100 - The REAL Veracity of Philanthropy

I just finished reading an newspaper article titled 'Motsepe sets example for the rich'.

"In a ground-breaking move for post-apartheid South Africa, mining magnate Patrice Motsepe, whose net worth is established by Forbes Magazine to be $2.65 billion (R24 billion), has pledged to give away half of the income generated by his family's assets to charity."

"I decided quite some time ago to give at least half of the funds generated by our family to uplift the poor and other disadvantaged and marginalized South Africans but was also duty-bound and committed to ensuring that it would be done in a way that protects the interests and retains the confidence of our shareholders and investors," Motsepe told reporters.

So here we have the richest black man in South Africa who has now been identified as being a philanthropist. Let's see in a few years time whether or not this 'philanthropic' act would have changed ANYTHING within the current status of the worlds problems which are brought upon by an Economic System which causes them to exist in the first place. Or BETTER YET - Let's not wait, because that would just stretch out the suffering of the marginalized within our country and the world as a whole EVEN LONGER! Why wait to see the results manifested in reality in some future event when we can EASILY, through applying BASIC common sense and mathematics within the process of adding 1 + 1 to see what the accumulation would be, see the answer right HERE.

As I was doing some research, I came across the following:
"The difference between charity and philanthropy are in the ways they are carried out. While charity creates an established, dependent relationship between the giver and the receiver, philanthropy seeks to empower and enable sustainability. Charity is a band aid, while philanthropy is the medicine."

This statement could not be further from the truth. The actuality is that philanthropy and charity are EXACTLY the same design. They both only serve as band aids, because within the acts of being charitable and philanthropic, no where within these processes is the CORE PROBLEM being investigated. All philanthropic beings do is place a band aid on the wounds which are brought about by the CAUSE, and nowhere within their expression of philanthropy do they make an effort to investigate the REAL cause of the wounds which they are plastering. I mean, these are 'well educated' people, and surely they should be able to see that the causes of the wounds which are inflicted onto this world are bought on by Economic Systems which serve greed and self-interest rather than supporting life as all as one as equal. And there ARE such so called 'philanthropists' which DO realize that this is the CAUSE, but they will not stand up and direct their attention towards treating the actual cause, because then that would mean that they lose all of their assets which they have accumulated WITHIN the SAME systems which have served them SO WELL within their own lives.

The dictionary definition of philanthropy is:
Altruistic concern for human welfare and advancement, usually manifested by donations of money, property, or work to needy persons, by endowment of institutions of learning and hospitals, and by generosity to other socially useful purposes.

Altruistic concern… I am reminded here of a video done by Lindsay Craver back 2011: 'Altruism will be NO MORE in an Equal Money System' wherein she poses the basic common sense question of "Who will Mother Theresa be in the Equal Money System, where all are cared for and all are living in dignity? Where would Mother Theresa come into that equation?". And the simple answer to this is that 'she wouldn't'.

So looking at altruism, philanthropy and also charity, the question we should be asking ourselves is 'why do these expression exist in the first place?' Looking at the person featured in this news article as an example - why do people such as Patrice Motsepe, Bill Gates and Warren Buffett (to name but a few) get praised for being 'selfless' and within this get held in such high regard within our world? Why do we not direct our attention and efforts to establishing a world wherein there would be no need for the expressions of philanthropy, charity and altruism? Why do we not see that these expressions, by their mere existence indicate that our world systems as they exists are based upon deceptive foundations which result in people such as these being placed above the rest due to their apparent selflessness.. REALLY? Why do we not have a world where there is no need for philanthropy, charity and altruism to exist in the first place?

And Wikipedia says:
Philanthropy etymologically means "love of man" in the sense of caring for, nourishing, improving, and enhancing the quality of life for human beings.

Philanthropy does NOT make a difference to the state of this world. It only affects a few beings at a time, and these effects are not ever-lasting. It's like it comes from the periphery of the problem, and barely makes a dent within the world as a whole.

Equal Money Capitalism - Now HERE is a message of LOVE made PRACTICAL in the sense that through having such a system in place, ALL will be cared for (NOT JUST THE HUMANS), ALL will be nourished, and the quality of life will be improved FOR ALL indefinitely!

So here is a message to all the Philanthropists, Altruistic as well as Charitable beings out there - If you REALLY want to live up to the definitions of these word, which have within them the starting point of making a difference, INVESTIGATE EQUAL MONEY CAPITALISM TODAY and channel your efforts towards establishing this proposed system which will ensure that ALL LIFE ON EARTH will be guaranteed a Dignified Life.

I mean, in this news article they also mention that last year, Motsepe donated R20 million to CHURCHES. And tell me - how have the churches made a difference? Really go back through the history books and see if ANY contribution by religion has EVER made a change to the state of the world. Actually, don't waste you time, because the answer again is HERE - If they HAD made any difference, then we would not be in the positions we are in today! See - Simple mathematics… 1+1=2 people!

Please assist and support yourself as well as this world as a whole by educating yourself on this topic to get to a point of common sense, through investing your to read through the blogs I have listed below.

I leave you with these posts:

"Turning a blind eye doesn't make the problem go away. Donating to charity doesn't make the problem go away. The only way to solve the problem is through radically redesigning our economic and political system that adheres to a Constitution that ensures all interactions and decisions are always conducted according to the Principle of Equality and What's Best for All."

"I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to take on board the belief that Charity is what we do to Help the World and that makes us Good, instead of seeing and realizing that if Charity was the Solution the World would have changed already, instead the World has NOT changed proving that Charity is what we do to feel good about ourselves and the fact that we do NOTHING for Real Change as that would imply Self Change and God forbid we took on the task of Changing the faulty Creation that we have accepted and allowed ourselves to become in self interest and fear"

"I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to not realize that Even Economics that should be the Management of the Earth Ecosystem in a way that Guarantee that All Life is taken Care of Equally, is only a lot of Self Centered fake opinions to Protect the Fortunate ones, and will seek to Create ways of Charity to keep the Charred Remains of the Unfortunate at Least Desperate Enough to Be the Slave Necessary for the Fortunate to Live Careless Lives."

"I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to be manipulated by staged fabrications from the press as propaganda often in the form of smiles and/or giving the appearance of warmth which have been nothing more than a distortion of our economic values such as with acts of charity – which serves the purpose to relieve peoples stress just enough without actually changing the system and is in fact the way in which to actually maintain an already corrupt world/money system by simply giving people just enough to prevent them from realizing exactly what’s been accepted and allowed within this world in order that the wealthiest in the world remain that way."

"I forgive myself that I have not accepted and allowed myself to realize that charity is a distraction from the actual problem, which is a system that allows people to exist in poverty as the denial of access to support, unless they are able to get money."
